From Farm to Export: How Allanys Agriq Moves Quality Produce from Kano to Market

Every export begins with a farmer and a field. What happens between the two decides whether a buyer comes back for a second order. At Allanys Agriq, we have built our business around that stretch of the journey, and this post explains how we work and who we work for.

Who we are

Allanys Agriq is an international commodity trading house based at Yan Kaji, Dawanau International Grain Market, Kano. Our work covers product sourcing, cultivation, trade, and export. We are not a middleman who appears at the end of the chain. We are involved from the point where a crop is grown to the point where it reaches the buyer, and that involvement is what lets us stand behind what we sell.

What we trade

The commodities we export and supply to fast-moving consumer goods companies include cashew nuts, sesame seed, soybeans, maize, shea nut, palm kernel, and sorghum. These crops serve different industries. Some end up in food manufacturing, others in oils, butters, and animal feed. Buyers who need steady volumes of any of them can rely on one trading partner instead of juggling several.

The list is not closed. If your business needs a commodity we have not named, ask us. Our trading experience and our contacts across the country give us a good chance of sourcing it.

Why our sourcing range matters

We have traded for over ten years in Kano, Edo, Oyo, Niger, Kaduna, Jigawa, Yobe, and Kogi. That spread is deliberate. Crops ripen in different places at different times, and no region has a good season every year. Rain can fail in one state while another has a strong harvest.

Because we buy across eight states, a poor season in one region does not leave our buyers without supply. We can shift purchasing to where the harvest is strong. For a buyer planning production or shipping schedules, that reliability is worth as much as the price per tonne.

More than trading

Trading is one link in the chain, and we operate several others. Beyond commodity trading, Allanys Agriq runs cattle rearing, garri processing, and agricultural haulage.

Owning more than one link gives us more control. When we handle our own transport, we decide when produce moves and how it is handled on the road. When we process garri ourselves, we know what went into the product. Each link we manage is one less handoff where quality, timing, or cost can slip.

These operations also create work. Farming, trading, logistics, and processing each need people, and we are proud to be a major employer along that value chain. Our aim is to create wealth for everyone with a stake in it, from the farmer to the driver to the buyer.

Support for people in agriculture

Not everyone who contacts us wants to buy or sell a commodity. We hear from students, graduates, educators, entrepreneurs, and farmers, both small-scale and large-scale. Many arrive with a question about how something works in agriculture, or where to start, or how to solve a problem on their land.

We built our consultation and support service for them. If you have an interest in the agricultural industry and want direct answers, we are open to the conversation. Agriculture grows stronger when knowledge moves freely, and a first-time farmer with good guidance today may become a supplier tomorrow.

Work with us

If you are a buyer, send us the commodity you need, the volume, and your delivery timeline. We will respond with a quote.

If you are a farmer, a student, or an aspiring agripreneur, tell us what you want to learn or solve, and we will arrange a consultation.
